How to Pay a Parking Citation

Park Volusia’s goal is to offer customers a simple and carefree parking experience. It is not our intent to issue parking citations, but to have 100% compliance with Volusia County ordinances and policies related to the Park Volusia Beach Parking Program.

Payment of daily parking fees will be required immediately after parking on a Park Volusia parking lot. Customers are responsible for entering the license plate of the vehicle they have parked accurately.

Payment will be required during all operating hours. Operating hours are 5 am to 11 pm 365 days a year. Parking is not permitted outside of operating hours.

How will I know if I have been issued a Parking Citation?

Parking citations will be issued in one of two ways:

  1. A paper citation will be placed on your vehicle windshield

  2. A citation letter will be mailed to the address of the registered owner of the vehicle.

    a. Vehicle owners are responsible for a parking citation issued to their vehicle regardless if they were the ones driving the vehicle at the time of a citation issuance.
    b. Vehicle owners are required to update their address within 30 days of a change by Florida State Law.  Failure to update your address may result in a mailed citation being issued to your old address.
