What is the New Virtual Resident Parking Permit For?

Beginning October 1, 2024, all parking permits will be virtual—no more stickers. Virtual permits are managed using your vehicle license plate(s). Instead, your vehicle’s license plate will serve as your permit or pass. You’ll enter your license plate information annually and can update it anytime throughout the year, such as if you purchase a new vehicle or temporarily use a rental.

Be sure to apply for your annual no-cost parking permit prior to arriving at beach parking locations. Annual parking permits WILL NO LONGER be able to be applied for or purchased at the beach entrance ramps.  Permits may be applied for on-line, in the Volusia County Beaches app,  or by visiting a Park Volusia office during business hours.
